Fourth Friday Gallery Nite 6- 9 pm. Open houses at participating Art Galleries in town. see www.wilmingtonfourthfridays.com for more information.
Art at the Oak Tonight at Airlie gardens. Tickets are $ 35 in advance or $ 45 at the door. You can check out details at www.ncazaleafestival.org.
Shell show at the Cape Fear Museum on Market Street - Saturday and Sunday. See www.capefearmuseum.com for more information.
At the USS North Carolina living history interrepters will bring the Battleship North Carolina to life as th act out what were daily dities and drills for the men who once called her home. check out the schedule at www.battleshipnc.com for more information.
Big Sweep at area beaches to clean up the beaches. Wrightsville Beach at 9 am at access 4, MerciersPier and Access 36 . Cleanups are also scheduled for the Carolina Beach at the Boardwalk Gazebo , Kure Beach at the Pier and at the boathouse at Greenfield Lake. Call 798-4404 for more information.
Cape Fear Italian Festival is this weekend Saturday and Sunday at Cross creek Commons Shopping Center in Leland with food bendrs, games raffles, music and other entertainment.
Also the very popular Spot Festival is this weekend in Hampstead, NC. It is a festival with fish fun and food. There will be vendors and music and entertainment.
