WILMINGTON, NC and Beaches Farmers Market List


Wilmington, NC and its beaches - Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Wrightsville Beach are all in the swing of summertime and with that comes the fresh veggies and fruits grown by local farmers and purveyors. There are an abundant number of Farmers Markets in the area. Check out the days and locations below:
Carolina Beach Farmers Market - Saturday at the Lake on Lake Park Blvd in the center of Carolina Beach. About 25 to 30 vendors each week from New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and Columbus counties will offer baked items, peanut butter, free-range eggs, free-range chicken, pork, beef, goat and rabbit. And, she added, there’s one headed from Virginia for the market.
Riverfront Farmers' Market

The Riverfront Farmers' Market is a curbside market featuring local farmers, producers, artists and crafters. Products offered include: fresh fruits and berries, vegetables, plants, herbs, flowers, eggs, cheeses, meats, seafood, honey, baked goods, legumes, pickled items, jams and jellies, wine, art, crafts, and more.
Leland
Leland to launch farmers’ market this summer
It will be held noon to 5 p.m. the third Sunday of every month at Leland Town Hall. The first one is June 20.

Wrightsville Beach Farmers Market
The Wrightsville Beach Farmers’ Market, which began in June, 2009, provides an opportunity for residents and visitors of Wrightsville Beach to purchase fresh, locally grown produce. The community setting and social atmosphere promote quality of life while offering a venue for local growers to offer their produce. The market, located on Old Causeway Drive across from the Post Office, is held each Monday from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. beginning the first Monday in May through the last Monday in September
